Demonstrate against the negation of the Armenian Genocide from
the media. Collectif VAN needs picket protestors to demonstrate in
front of France 5 Television this Saturday from 3 to 4pm. Come for
a hour to protest the removal of the Armenian Genocide from the documentary
“From Ottoman Empire to Turkey”, which was last shown
on November 9th at 8pm. |

Titled “Europe, Turkey and the Armenian Cause”, this
meeting seeks to discuss what place Armenian issues have in the context
of European Affairs and the integration of Turkey into the European
Union. There will be a number of guest speakers from the French government
and Armenian organizations who will talk at length about why they
are opposed to Turkey’s candidacy. |

Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus will gather outside
of the _ in Brussels to voice their objections to Turkey joining Europe.
This demonstration is particularly important because all twenty five
heads of the European Union countries will be in Brussels at the time.
