The annual Armenian Independence Day Festival is a free, family friendly event in Glendale’s Verdugo Park, complete with live music, kids’ activities, ethnic cuisine, artisans market, and more. In addition to commemorating an important event in Armenian history, the event also helps to introduce the Armenian culture to the community through arts, crafts, cuisine, and traditional song and dance.
The annual event creates a positive, educational as well as entertaining atmosphere with an increase in community connections through the participation of all community members.
