 Armenia-Diaspora Organizational and Structural Issues

TASK: Study and share parallels and comparisons in other Homeland-Diaspora pairs around the world; Conduct study and research necessary to accurately assess the potential of the Armenian Diaspora; Focus on removing obstacles and problems in Armenia-Diaspora cooperation and, instead, devising the necessary mechanisms for improving Armenia-Diaspora relations.

 Political Issues and Advocacy

TASK: Define and explore national priorities and challenges as viewed by Armenia and Diaspora. Determine how advocacy issues on Armenia1s foreign relations agenda can they be tackled collaboratively.

 Business & Economic Development

TASK: Identify problems facing Armenia1s businesses and foreign investments, explore package solutions that include regulatory, moral and business considerations, consider ways of improving the climate for those economic sectors which hold most promise for Armenia

 Education, Science, Culture

TASK:Work towards fostering mutual understanding, and the preservation, dissemination of Armenian cultural values; Promote effective, organized exchanges between Armenia1s and Diaspora1s cultural, educational and scientific communities, with a special focus on experiences in the arts, experiences in genocide education, youth camps and summer programs.

 Info & Media

TASK: Devise ways to benefit from the huge potential of the Internet, especially as a small nation with a large Diaspora; Work on developing common communication tools, necessary to understand each other; Develop a program to promote and strengthen the media in order to more effectively serve national interests.

 Second Armenia-Diaspora Conference 

 

The second Armenia - Diaspora Conference took place in Yerevan, May 27-28 for the purpose of further developing and deepening  Armenia - Diaspora cooperation.Armenians.
