Aichi, June 07, Armenpress: Armenian prime minister Andranik Margarian
attended today the official opening of the Armenian pavilion at EXPO-2005
Exposition in Japan's Aichi. Margarian was quoted by government press
office as saying that events of this caliber, attended by representatives
of around 200 countries and international organizations are in tune with
global integration processes, providing a wonderful environment for establishment
of economic, trade as well as cultural and humanitarian contacts among
representatives of various nations.
"EXPO-2005 is a weighty promotion of multi-lateral cooperation,"
Margarian was quoted as saying, stressing also that all three nations
of the South Caucasus were demonstrating their countries within one pavilion,
named The Caucasus. Later in the evening a reception in honor of Armenian
prime minister was to be held, after which the Armenian delegation was
to fly to Tokyo for talks with Japanese government officials.
