Armenia, Azerbaijan Lowest Rate of Agriculture Growth in CIS
epress.am -- Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have the lowest rate of growth of agriculture in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), according to date from the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of agricultural products in Kyrgyzstan increased by 0.2%. Lower figures were recorded only in Armenia (-13.1%) and Azerbaijan (-1%).
According to date from the first half of 2010, the highest rates of export were recorded in Azerbaijan (+76%), Kazakhstan (+72%), Armenia (+56%) and Russia (+52%).
In terms of import growth, the leaders among the CIS are Russia (+32%), Ukraine (+30%) and Armenia (+24%).
