The monitoring passed without incidents: Minsk Group Co-Chairs visit Stepanakert

ArmRadio -- As part of a regional visit, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Igor Popov, Robert Bradtke and Igor Popov, participated in the monitorin at the contact line between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan. The monitoring passed without incidents, representative of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs told “Radiolur.”
The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will issue a joint statement on the results of their visit to Azerbaijan, French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier told reporters before the monitoring.
He said that the Co-Chairs held active meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Fassie pointed out that before visiting Baku, in their joint statement on September 6 the OSCE MG Co-Chairs proposed an active program to both sides. It is a program of meetings for the next few months, until December.
The mediators are currently in Stepanakert to hold a meeting with NKR President Bako Sahakyan. The Co-Chairs will arrive in Yerevan on September 9.
