Edward Nalbandian: Karabakh’s participation in the talks is a must

ArmRadio -- On September 9 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke and Igor Popov, as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.
The Co-Chairs briefed Minister Nalbandian on the results of the discussions with the authorities of Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh held in Baku and Stepanakert.
The Armenian Foreign Minister underlined that “he immediate participation of Nagorno Karabakh in the talks is a must and will considerably contribute to the settlement of the issue.”
During the meeting reference was made to the provocations at the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan and their possible influence on the negotiation process and the situation in the conflict zone.
The interlocutors discussed the future steps, the continuation of the negotiations on the basis of the Madrid principles.
