Turks threaten to kill Armenian climbers on Ararat

27407NewsAm  The President of the Chamber of Trade and Industry in Agri province (Turkey) Mehmet Erat responded to the reports that a group of U.S. and Canadian Armenians erected Armenian and NKR flags on the summit of Mt. Ararat.

According to Habermynet website, Erat noted that in case the fact is confirmed, the Agri citizens will take down the flags and erect the Turkish one from the Armenian side.

He stressed that the fact had not been confirmed yet, saying “If Agri citizens knew about it, they would bury the climbers on Ararat.”

Earlier, the Asbarez newspaper reported that a group of 11 Armenians climbed Mt. Ararat and erected the flags of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The Turkish press was indignant over the fact that the Armenians noted they had no permission to climb the mountain, as the Ministry of Tourism had cancelled the permits.

Boy you need permission from murdering Mongols to climb your own mountain? Ararat belongs to Armenians and will always regardless of which criminal is occupying it.
